Known for its powerful currents, dramatic underwater topography, and extraordinary biodiversity, Nusa Penida is one of Indonesia’s most iconic dive destinations, attracting divers from around the world seeking manta rays, mola, and thriving reef ecosystems.

Our purpose built speedboats provide efficient access to more than 20 dive sites around Nusa Penida and neighbouring islands. We operate three dive a day designed for passionate divers who want to experience the full diversity of the region, from protected shallow bays and vibrant coral gardens to exhilarating drift dives and vertical walls descending over 200 metres into the deep blue.

Marine life encounters here are exceptional. Depending on the season and conditions, divers may encounter manta rays year-round, seasonal mola (sunfish), turtles, schooling reef fish, and an extraordinary variety of macro and pelagic species. The nutrient-rich waters surrounding Nusa Penida make every dive unique, offering both thrilling encounters and breathtaking underwater scenery.

Dune Penida operates from two premium locations on the island. Our Toyapakeh harbour dive centre offers streamlined access to daily dive departures, while our exclusive hillside dive resort overlooks the channel toward Mount Agung, providing a peaceful retreat complete with an infinity pool and panoramic ocean views, an ideal setting to relax between dives or unwind after a full day exploring beneath the surface.

Dharm joined Dune Penida team in 2024. Being underwater has always amazed him, and the way we can explore the underwater environment, a place that we are not supposed to live in, is one the things that make him love this job. Young and dynamic, he is always willing to share his passion with everyone!

Iffan

PADI Instructor 537675

Iffan is from West Java Indonesia. He joined Dune Penida as an Admin in 2021 and now became one of our Instructor. As a Dive Master, he is deeply passionated about marine conservation. He believes ineducating our guests about the importance of preserving our oceans and the diverse ecosystems within them. Through diving, he aims to inspire others to become stewards of the sea, fostering a deeper appreciation for marine life and the underwater world.
